Re: how do I unjam a rear passenger seat belt from a...
I strongly recommend you take your vehicle to your vehicle's local dealer and have the belt removed from the door and then inspect the belt for damage. A damaged seat belt might break when you need it most. Seatbelts and safety are the most important thing!

If it's anything like the 2000 Hyundai Accent (which it probably is) it is mounted on top of the gas tank. First make sure you have a tank that is less than half full (8lbs per gallon), then jack up the car and place jackstands in a secure place. Then place a jack and 2x4 under the tank. Remove the 2 straps and slowly lower the fuel tank, it's most likely on the passenger side on top of the tank.
ask hundai if there is a main relay. These are often the cause of this kind of problem and normally reside under the dash.
This is common in Honda, Accura, toyota and huyndai.
Replace main relay or take it apart and resolder all connections.
The passenger seat belt wont come out of the B-pillar?? You will have to remove the B-pillar cover to REPLACE the retractor. It is not recomended to attempt a repair on a seat belt(unless it is just twisted and jammed) You may have to cut the belt if it is too tight to gain access.
I need to replace the rear passenger-side seat belt buckle clasp but the clasp (under back seat) is connected to the seatbelt for middle backseat passenger. Can I replace just the passenger side without disturbing the middle belt?, cheers,Jen.
