this is at least one bad wheel bearing, the bearing that is bad will be on the side of the direction you steer that lessens the noise.

There is some wire shorted to ground during the dash work due to some pinched points. Need to revisit the re-installation work.

it should be removeable. it should be able to be tapped out with a punch. Can you see both ends of it to make sure that it is not a bolt/screw? Can you tell if there is a set screw that holds it in place?
