Question about 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe
The blower motor resistor has constant power all the time. these resistors have been redesigned several times, I have replaced many of them. It usually fries the connector that plugs into it also. the updated resistor, and pigtail are available at any dealer for around 150 bucks or so. underneath the pass. of the dash is a black plastic cover, remove the 7mm screws , and under it you will find the resistor, it has a large connector coming into it which usually gets burnt, and a new one will have to be spliced in, and it has a 2 wire plug coming out of it that plugs into the blower motor, if you fix it yourself, the new part will help you aid in finding it..
