Question about 1993 Mercury Villager
I was driving my 1993 mercury villager to work and it just lost power as i was driving it. it sounds like it wants to start but it just wont kick in. Any suggestions what it might be.
Check the ignition system for spark at the plugs. I had a similar problem a few years back with mine. Engine died while I was driving along on the interstate. Turned out that the spring pin holding the bevel gear to the bottom of the didtributor shaft had broken in three pieces. Installed a new pin, installed the distributor with the #1 cylinder at TDC, and it fired right up.
