Question about 2001 Honda Civic
Procedure on depinning wiring harness connectors on 2001-2005 honda civics
Hi there. Honda employs a system called TTS (Total Terminal Security) and it's what gives Honda a great name when it comes to reliable electrics and electronics - their electrical connections and pin conections are truely fabulous. You need to look very carefully at each plug, firstly removing the small rubber grommet and then use a very small watch type screwdriver to bend back the small metal tabs that retain the pin connector in place. It's fiddly work, but it can be done. Best regards. Scottech.
