300M electrical issue

Im not clear where my problem is but my car will sometimes start and turn off right away and do this 6 times and then locks up... have to disconect the batery and try over later... like its not reconising the key.. sometimes it will start and stay running no problem but all the warning lights are on and the gauges do not work, and a message "no bus"... also the keyless entry does not work... i have replaced the junction box and the BCM and the problem remains... whats next??

This is a tuff one.. it can be mind bolgeling wiil try to help on this on but you might not have no choice but to take it to the dealer and let them reprogram you key and keyless entry remote. lets start with that first. you already replaced your bmc and junction box . so your half way there. i think it the remote now i might be wrong . and you might not want to spend the 140 or 160 to have this done.but it might be hte only fix. good luck....

Problem with 1999 Chrysler 300M My Chrysler 300m

If the engine doesn't turn over, it may be the solenoid not operating and not engaging the dog on the starter motor, if you get a healthy clunk when you turn the key but the engine does not turn, could be seized or there could be a transmission lock issue.

I am hoping someone on here can help me with my problem...My check engine light came on my 2003 Chrysler 300 M special edition and also wouldn't start at times for up to 30-45 minutes at a time, and...

Have you had the battery changed since you had the car. Have that checked for a full charge and no dead cells. Always have the air-conditioning completely off when starting the car. The starter takes a lot of amps to turn over and having the AC on doesn't help.

and another reason is the code didn't clear out completely. this tool can help you test the code.

get a starting and charging system diagnostic. I am the owner of a 99 300M and I had a similar problem. It took about 3 months before my car would not start at all. But sometimes, I would get this clicking when turning the key in the ignition. It turned out to be a short in the starter. The starter and the alternator had to be replaced.
