Why is my 2007 mitsubishi idlling rough and stalling when hot. I rently took it out of storage

how tanks of gas have you gone through since taking it out of storage. it could be bad gas in the tank or the gas that was in the system during storage has gone bad and may have started to varnish the system from stale gas. run a fuel system cleaner in it. this may take a couple of treatments if your buying this from an auto parts store. best way is to go to a shop that has the machine to clean the fuel system and see how it runs after. also how was it running before storage, has it been a wile since it had a proper tune up. it could also be a fuel pump that is going bad, have the fuel pressure checked with a pressure gage.

Problem with evap system. Charcoal cannister may be full of liquid gas, if so drain or replace. In the future, do not top off tank when filling.

Has been in storage will crk. when fuel is poured down throat .has fuel press fuel is by passed to return gas line will only run when you pour gas in .

Depending on how long it has sat, the gas can turn to varnish and not be capable of 'lighting off' with spark-try draining the tank and fill with 5 gallons of fresh gas, charge the battery to full charge and try again.

My Saturn has been sitting in my driveway for about a year and a half. We just replaced the battery and the fuel filter and when I try to start the car, the engine turns over, starts for a minute, and then...

If the gas in tank is that old you need to drain it. Once you have good new, clean fuel in tank. Turn key to run position,(do not energize starter just want red lights on dash to come on) listen for fuelpump whine. It will shut off. Turn key off.Turn key to run again, listen for fuelpump again. Turn off key again. Repeat this procedure total 5 times. On last time turn key to engage starter. It should build up enough pressure & fuel & start right up.

My son filled up by 2001 volvo with a tank full of

Drain the fuel asap. Race fuel is not meant for a everyday car it will ruin the engine since its not set up to run on that type of fuel, its probably kicking a code to you engine due to this to make it run this way. If you drain the tank and then fill it with normal 87,89,91 octane gas you should be ok. Not too sure on how to drain the tank on that year Volvo.

Engine runing rough

I assume this is a gas motor. MIL on? Any codes? See if the truck runs rough below half tank, but better with a full tank. If no change, there could be contamination in the fuel rail which lands in the tops of the injectors.

1994 Chev Astro 4.3L AWD "W" OBD Code 43 168K Miles

code 43, i would expect with running rough but that's not the cause , its a result ,if the system detects noise (knock) it will try to compensate by retarding the timing to save the motor , built in self preservation , i hope your not running on 2 year old gas , i'd be amazed its even running at all , gas varnishes up bad enough in 6 months to 1 year , i suggest getting some fuel additive in there to stabilize and clean the fuel system , or have it drained and start over with fresh gas and go from there . cheers .
