Did you check the fuses under the hood? There should be a 20 amp brake light fuse in there.

Right tail light not blub and dash light out on a 1997 Cadillac deville

With a volt meter check for B+ voltage on the brown wire at the tail lamp. check for a good ground at the black wire . You need to find which side of the circuit has the problem ,power or ground . Have you checked fuse's ? Does the right license plate light work ? Brake lights , turn signals ? The dash lights dimming switch all the way on bright ? Yes , take insturment cluster out an check bulbs.

I have a 01 GMC Sonoma. One night noticed i had no tail lights. But my brake lights work. I have blinkers and hazards. I have checked all the fuses and the blubs. I also have power back to the sockets.

Well, if you have power on the tail light circuit you should have lights. The tail light circuit is different from brake and turn signal, and they both use the same ground.
Are you sure you have power on the tail light circuit to the bulbs ? And are the parking lights out for the front too ?

I have 89 bronco 2 my brake lights turn signals both work my tail lights don't work have check fuse n blubs what might be the problem

The turn signals and brake lights use the same circuit and filament in the bulbs. The tail lights are on the other circuit which comes from the headlight switch.
Do you have power on the tail light fuse ?

No brake lights, blubs and fuses ok. center brake light DOES work

Usually when the third brake light works but the regular lights don't the problem is in the turn signal switch.
I would check for voltage there.

No tail lights

You should have a fuse panel under you dash inside. This is where the fuses are located for lights. Don't know the exact location, but you can pull each fuse to see if it is bad. This won't hurt anything. It just keeps you from hunting down a diagram of where the fuse is located.

Your headlight switch may be going bad. Work it while someone watches the tail lights. Anything different lights replace the switch.
