It is on the throttle body (where the accelarator cable conncts to) on the LH side of the throttle body. Held down by 2 bolts. Disconnect the harness plug, undo the 2 bolts and it can be removed.

Whether you have the drive by wire system or cabled throttle body the TPS is still situated on the throttle body as it is driven directly by the throttle spindle. The reference to the throttle cable is to indicate where to start looking if you dont know what a throttle body is. In your case I should perhaps say the throttle body is on the top front part of the engine where the air intake pipes connect.

Hi, the throttle position sensor assembly is mounted directly to the throttle body in the hood. I believe the throttle position sensor is replaced w/ the throttle body as an assembly....

It's located on your throttle body which has a cable attached to your gas pedal. The one's I've dealt with are just bolted to the throttle body and all you have to do is disconnect the harness and unbolt the sensor....

The throttle position sensor is located on the front of the throttle body where the intake ducts are located. To access it you will have to remove the two intake ducts and the vacuum hoses. You will see an electrical connector to unplug. It is attached by two screws.

Where is the Engine Throttle Position Sensor located in my 2007 Cadillac DTS

It is located in the throttle body assembly . Your vehicle has electronic throttle control .
Throttle Body Assembly
The throttle body assembly contains the following components:
?€¢
The throttle blade

?€¢
The throttle actuator motor

?€¢
The throttle position (TP) sensor 1 and 2

The throttle body functions are similar to a conventional throttle body with the following exceptions:
?€¢
An electric motor opens and closes the throttle valve.

?€¢
The throttle blade is spring loaded in both directions and the default position is slightly open.

?€¢
There are 2 individual TP sensors within the throttle body assembly.

Oh yea it has two TPS - throttle position sensors ! An you have to replace the whole assembly !

You may need to replace the Throttle Position Sensor. I could not find any Technical Service Bulliten's (TBS) or Recalls that are related to your problem. I will keep looking, but try to change the Throttle Position Sensor.
