SOURCE: I have a Toyota Revo GLX, model 2001 with powered side mirror. From stored position (folded on the side of the window) to open position ( when you are going to use the side mirror), there is a clickin
Hi MVN, Seems that the washer is from the securing hollow mount. There should be a nut somewhere inside too. The mirror is electrically operated not hydrolic. The mirror will probably break if you try to remove it from the housing, but as to save it you will have to do so anyway, you may as well try. If you are successful, you can reattach it using double sided mirror tape, but make sure it is a good quality tape. Adjust it to the maximum and insert a flat blade between it and the mounting and try un-clipping it. If it does not break you should be able to replace and lock the housing back in place, but it will be difficult. To replace the mirror you will need to remove the door panel and the small cover on the inside of the door adjacent to the mirror mount. It clips into place and is gently levered off. Inside are three screws holding the assembly in place. Disconnect the electrics inside the door panel and then remove the screws. Fit back the replacement and reassemble. Regards John
