No the one next to the regulator is the return line, the supply is on the back side of the intake connected to the ther side of the fuel rail.

How to remove intake manifold for 1997 pontiac grand prix

You have to remove anything that is connected and in the way of the intake. Remove the fuel rail, the EGR valve and supply pipe from the manifold, the map sensor, the vacuum for the fuel pressure regulator, the alternator and support bracket, the water pipes for the throttle body, and the bolts that hold it down.

My 93 Pontiac GP LE 3.1 has all the symptoms of a bad fuel pressure regulator but I can't see any fuel coming out when I remove the vacuum line.

Well fuel is not in your vacuum lines, you need a fuel pressure tester to check to see what your fuel pressure is

How to replace fuel pressure regulator on a 98 pontiac grand prix 3.8

After taking of the huge plastic cover on top of the engine you will see where the fuel injectors are. On the fuel rail which supplies fuel to injectors theres a vacuum line that goes into the fuel regulator. It's black and round and at the beginning of the fuel rail. One side has the fuel line screwed into it and the other side is directly connected to the fuel rail. The whole part comes out. The piece with the vacuum line in it. There's a bolt that holds it in. Very easy to change. Let me know how you come out

My 04 Grand prix gt will start then after sitting a while will not start i have to push the gas for it to stay started i just got this car and it only has 56k miles on it.

A fuel pressure test should be performed as I suspect the fuel pressure regulator is leaking fuel into the vacuum line causing the engine to flood on restart.
A drop in fuel pressure would confirm this.

What makes a car stop while driving but starts

Fuel pressure loss is the usual cause. Check your fuel pressure. This can be caused by a plugged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump. The next thing to check is your fuel pressure regulator

Check the fuel pressure regulator. Pull off the vac line to it and see if any gas is leaking out of the vacuum fitting. If you see any fuel replace the regulator.
