Very easy their is nothing to remove except the torque converter shield to gain access to remove the pan.. Hint : Only use a high quality gasket if you are going to do it or you wont fix anything, the factory gasket is your best bet , clean all surfaces well ,and install dry . DO NOT use any silicone sealer ......

Where is the oil drain plug on my 2003 buick lesabre?

Should be directly below the engine at the oil drain pan. It should be a larger drain bolt that screws into the oil drain pan.

The transmission pan may be next to it but won't have a drain plug. The transmission fluid pan has several small bolts that hold it on and the whole pan has to be dropped to change that fluid.

Good luck on finding hte oil drain plug for the 2003 Buick LeSabre.

Where is trans drain plug 1993 buick lesabre

On most transmissions there's not a drain plug. The entire pan has to be unbolted and the filter is above the pan. It's a messy job. Once you get most of them loosened the fluid will drai past the gasket. When youbuy new fluid get filter and new gasket.

Needs oil pan gasket - when reinstalling gasket is there a certain to tighten bolts

Anyone order in there... just position the oil pan and secure with the oil pan-to-engine bolts. Tighten the bolts to 124 inch lbs. (14 Nm). Do NOT overtighten the bolts, as this will damage the oil pan, causing a leak.

Bad transmission leak, steady, 1/2 qt. overnight?

The most probable cause of a leak that steady would be the transmission oil pan gasket. It is an easy fix and I would also recommend changing the transmission filter when you change the gasket. Hope this helps!

* Place a new formed rubber gasket in the oil pan flange.

1993 buick lesabre my oil pump stopped pumping oil in the engine. Where is the oil pump located? do I need to adjust the timing chain?

Oil pumps on these do not go bad. The oil pressure sensor could be bad giving you a false reading. If not the only other thing could be is a clogged up oil pickup screen inside the oil pan. also get a delco pf47 filter
