Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT
No it will not start because it is a passlock problem with this car... your security will blink and you have to leave the car in the start position with the key in for 10 min until the security light stops flashing, turn the car off and then restart it and it should work , till next time it happens, which by the way , with mine it was like 2 -3 times a week, finally i got tired of this and wen to a mechanic friend who disabled the passlock system , best decision i ever made, cost me 40.00, unlike the 500 i was quoted to change the ignition module from dealer... so do not waste your money it willl not fix this problem i have heard anyway.... so good luck
