Hello, I have a Ford Taurus 1999 the sevice engine soon is on since 2 weeks it goes off for a day and comes on.I though the fuel was poor or the gauge cap no tighten but none of these.I realy don't know...

You need to get the engine computer checked for trouble codes.
Anytime the light comes on a code should set.
Most auto parts stores will scan for free in hopes of selling you some parts.
The code or codes will tell you what to check, not what to replace.

I have a 1999 Ford Taurus that would not heat, took to shop they flushed the system, replaced the water pump and it ran hot after thet flushed the system took it back they flushed the system again and

Did you have red antifreeze prior to the flushing? Ford engines are generally aluminium and should be using blue antifreeze which is suitable for aluminium engine blocks! I think the antifreeze is reacting to the aluminium.....re flush and use blue!

1999 ford taurus- yellow engine warning light keeps showing cylinder 1 misfire. I have: 1. Changed out plugs and wires, 2. switched wires around, 3. replaced fuel injector, 4. replaced coil. Still...

Yes.
You could have a leaking head gasket or a crack in the cylinder head.
After driving the car for a few days the spark plug should show signs of coolant on the tip.
You may want to do a compression test to see if that cylinder is low on compression too.

1999 ford taurus trying to crank but will not turn over

more that likely the starter wire is broke or loose. there is 2 red cables that come out of the battery 1 goes to the fuse box under the hood and the other goes to the starter. its covered by wire loom that you have to take apart and look but that like of taurus are commonfor that. i would start with that

My 2002 for taurus runs out of antifreeze every 2 weeks. I don't see a leak anywhere. Also, sometimes I can smell antifreeze when standing in front of the car, near the hood. Is it possible it is...

No, it can't burn it, the engine would seize if it would do that. The antifreeze is lost thru evaporation - this is why you smell it. Check the radiator cap and the overfill tube and bowl.

Where is the commen oil leak on a 97 ford taurus

Maybe, maybe not, It's most likely a bad rear seal or worn main bearings but check the oil filter just to be safe. Sometimes things go wrong when changing the oil filter that can cause similar symptoms.
1) old gasket left behind.
2) cross threaded filter.
3) loose filter.
4) damage gasket or defective new filter.

Need to know what type of antifreeze to put in 1999 taurus

Any anti-freeze is good. But personally I prefer using Prestone. The best kind is the 50/50 already pre-mixed.

Mix 50% water and 50% ethylene glycol antifreeze to protect your car down to -34F. Use up to 70% antifreeze if lower temperatures are expected, but no more; pure coolant does not cool as well as coolant mixed with water.
