Thanks for getting back so quick. I have replaced the fuses although they test good, but it was the easiest thing to start with, Also the Flasher.

Normally, there isn't anything much in common between the 3 problems. As for the brake lights, there is a switch, normally somewhere on the back of the brake pedal which activates the brake lights, somewhere up high near the linkage. The only thing common to the flashers and hazards is the column on the steering wheel to activate them. That means possibly 2 separate problems, which is odd, but stranger things have happened. The only real thing which have all 3 in common would be the steering column itself or the harness.Tomorrow afternoon i have a 3:30 appointment but there is a library within a mile which carries haynes and chilton manuals which i commonly use so i will take a look at them and try to figure it out. There are no downloadable repair or service manual downloads available free on the internet due to copyright and patent royalties/fees so i make use of the library alot.Owner's manuals free, yes.Greg

1987. Why is there no power at the turn signal cam?

Do you have brake and parkng lights? The turnsignal switch on the column is just designed to relay a path to the flasher and then it is designed to interupt the brake and some of the parking lights lights, which cause the flashing on and off. Double check fuses double check bulb socks and bulbs for good contacts. Does the 4 ways work? If the lights all flash then locate the turn signal flasher and switch with emergency flasher if possible to rule out relay. If those are all good and the emergency flasher lights work and bulbs, then you would have a problem with the turn signal switch. Hope this all helps

What fuse is for the turn signals in a Ford explorer sport 2002

You should find a fuse that is labeled "multi-purpose" switch or similar. That would be the fuse. You might want to play with the hazard flashers switch a bit by pressing it on and off a bunch of times. Occasionally some debris gets in there and knocks everything out. Could be a loose connector on the multi-function switch. You'll have to remove the cowling to see it.

Good luck.

What would cause the turn signals to work sometimes and sometimes not ?

A bad flasher relay would do that. They are usually located on the fuse panel and plug into it.

Turn signals wont work bulbs ok dont have a manual to the car dont know wich fuse goes to the turn signals

pickup a test light and check all the fuse if the fuses are good then you probably have a bad signal flasher.make sure you change the signal flasher and not the emergency flasher as they look the same.

Emergency flashers work ok but indicators do not, have checked fuse and its ok changed bulbs all ok,

you need to replace the flasher canister, the car is equipped with two one for the emergency flashers and one for the turn signals the flasher is located on the fuse block.

Emergency Flashers totally out, Rear lights malfunctioning

Check the ground on the passenger side rear lights, it's likely bad. As for the hazards, sounds like a bad flasher or fuse.

1997 Chevy Tahoe both turn signals stopped working

Sounds like the flasher unit to me. Normally the emergency flasher and turn signal are separate.

1995 F150 the turn signals do not work, but

Look in the fuse panel and the turn signal flasher is the big round most likely yellow or silver in the corner of fuse panel. The emergency flasher is in the back side of fuse panel right directly behind the turn signal flasher.
Remove the emergency flasher and install it in place of the turn signal flasher and see if this corrects the problem and if so get a new flasher. If this does not correct it problem will most likely be the multi-function switch.

1991 Ford E150 turn signals do not work, emergancy flashers flash constantlly unless the flasher relay is unplugged from fuse block

If I understand you right based on your post/description, the signal lights would still turn on even if any or both of the flasher relays are removed. Should this be the case, then the signal lights are not getting the power from the flasher relays but from the brake light circuit.

Perhaps your concern is not with any of the flasher, but simply missing or loose ground more particularly with the rear lights. Perhaps you could try determining which of the wires for the brake lights and signal lights (as they come out of the light assembly) would be ground . A test and even possibly a temporary workaround is to hard wire a second ground connection from the determined ground wire of the lights and attach it to any conveniently located bolt or screw to the body. it may be to your advantage to do this on all the rear lights assembly.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
