I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When the car is off, the driver side brake light works. When I turn the car on, the driver side brake light does not work. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how...

This is the corrective method for your brake lights not working when your headlights are on your 2000 Jeep Cherokee
1) The cause of the problem is heat from the bulb.
2) Remove the light assembly as if you were going to change a bulb.
3) Turn the socket and remove it from the taillight assembly and set it aside(check to be sure your bulb is not burnt out).
4) Look at the opening, you will see 3 flat chrome colored contacts on the assembly.
5) Notice the one by it self at the top of the opening, that is the "ground".
6) If you look closely you will notice the plastic around the ground contact has shrunk a little bit, this caused the contact to pull away from the socket, causing the problem.
7) With a small flat head screwdriver, VERY GENTLY pry up the contact so it stays slightly upward by itself.
8) Re-insert the bulb assembly back into the housing and press your brake petal with your lights on.
9) You should be in good to go!
10) Tools: Phillips head screwdriver and a small flat head screwdriver.
11) Time : 5 minutes per light

The other option is to change the entire tail light assembly to correct your problem.

Drivers side head light is way dimmer than passenager light even after new bulb replacement

When looking from the outside of the headlight at the bulb, can you see the bulb clearly??
These lenses are notorious for dulling very badly. If it has you can use a regular headlight 'restoring' kit sold at most auto part locations.

If it is not a lens issue, you may have a wiring/supply issue.
Then you would need to find the troublesome wire/connection.
I am not the best at wiring issues, but I would try to find a power source wire with the same amperage rating, run a bypass jumper from a known good voltage source and see if the light changes. If no change, your problem may be the harness or plug at the rear of the headlight bulb.
Hope I could help

Change map light lamps

Use a tiny screwdriver to pop off theplastic piece that you push to turn the light on, then the bulb just pops out.Find the "hinged" side of the plastic light cover (the side thatdoesn't go up and down). Insert the tipof a flat-head screw-driver between the plastic light cover and the surroundingframe. The tip should be on the side of the hinge, about 1/4" away fromeither corner. The cover will pop right out. Then Use your screwdriver to popout the light bulb.

I need to change the driver side bulb head light on a 2005 eddie bower expedition

Remove the air filter and box. After removal your arm should be able to reach there. It's so compact with little room. Take the intake hose loose (screw driver Phillips)There are 3-4 bolts holding the filter box in, take these out and the box will lift out. It can be done without doing all this, but your arms will be scratched and in a bind. I change mine without doing all of this. disconnect the plug at bulb, There's a screw collar holding the bulb in, un-screw it, and bulb will come out. Don't get your hand oils on the bulb,, it causes it to heat uo and bust.

How to change head light bulb toyota corolla 98. Difficult to reach bulb from engine compartment. Do I need to remove all head light assembly to change the bulb?

no!!!! its difficult, but possible... the headlights have a rubber cover over the wiring harness. pull it off, un plug the harness, and there is a metal wire bracket, hard to explain, if you check out the driver side first (easier to access) the other side should be a breeze. hope this helps
