OK, the first thing I would check is the fluid level. And color.
If that seems to be ok, maybe try a transmission flush and refill for about $100 depending on where you take it.
If that doesn't solve the driveability issue, then I would have it serviced by a transmission rebuilder to get it working right if you plan on keeping the vehicle.

The following comes from my online resource which is based on Chilton:

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION Understanding the Automatic Transmission The automatic transmission allows engine torque and power to be transmitted to the rear wheels within a narrow range of engine operating speeds. It will allow the engine to turn fast enough to produce plenty of power and torque at very low speeds, while keeping it at a sensible rpm at high vehicle speeds (and it does this job without driver assistance). The transmission uses a light fluid as the medium for the transmission of power. This fluid also works in the operation of various hydraulic control circuits and as a lubricant. Because the transmission fluid performs all of these functions, trouble within the unit can easily travel from one part to another. For this reason, and because of the complexity and unusual operating principles of the transmission, a very sound understanding of the basic principles of operation will simplify troubleshooting. Don't put a turbo on an old motor unless you are ready to rebuild entire driveline. Yes it will be costly.

Brakes not relacing properly

If you can give a better explanation of the problem you're experiencing, I'm confident 1 of us can answer/solve the problem w/ease. "Brakes not relacing properly" does not make any sense in my opinion. Did you mean the brakes are not realigning properly?

Clunking when i take off

sounds like a broken transmission mount, get a pry bar and stick it over the transmisson crossmember but under the transmisson and try to pry the transmisson upward, if it moves up and down replace the transmisson mount, if this isnt the problem my next guess would be the driveshaft u-joints, grab the driveshaft near the rear end and turn it back and forth to check for excessive play

Check engine light on, auto transmission shifts gears abruptly

It should still be under warrenty Take it to the shop for repairs It is a transmisson problem but many things can cause the transmisson not to shift correctly. Call your service department and ask if you should drive it in or have it towed and do not drive till you have it figured out. If you have a warrenty and continue to drive it will void your warrenty.

Speedomature don't work 1993 f250

the part that inserts into the transmisson could be worn or loose, the part that inserts into the dash gearbox is worn or loose, the wire that connects the two is broken or loose, or the actual speedometer is bad. These are pretty much the only things that would cause it other than a bad fuse. SO CHECK THE FUSE FIRST.

Tranny

Chryslers need clean transmisson fuild and the right type of fuild. I would check the transmisson fuild level and top up if needed. If the fuild looks old and dirty have the transmisson serviced witha fuild and filter change - 50-100 buck could save you big $$$ on a trans job later
