Sounds like a bad alternator. Recommend you take it off and have the parts store test it. If you need instructions, let me know.

The alternator (generator) is on the upper left front of the engine.
Check the tension in the belt. You will need to retension the belt after putting the alternator back in.

    1. Remove the Negative battery cable

    2. Loosen the bolt on front of the small pulley (tensioner) below and to the left of the alternator.

    3. Loosen the tension adjusting bolt on the right of the small pulley--this should loosen the belt.

    4. When sufficiently loose, remove the belt from the alternator (but leave it on the other pulleys).

    5. Remove all bolts holding the alternator.

    6. Lift the alternator and remove the connector.

    7. Rest the alternator in a position that allows you to remove the bigger wire bolted to the back.

the alternator should be free and ready for testing.

I checked the manual, and your PCM regulates the voltage from the alternator, in case anyone asks you.

Let me know if you get stuck or have questions.

2002 Mazda tribute won't start but can jump, car will shut off while driving

you mentioned new alternator and battery, but it seem that the alternator is not charging, when you install the new battery the car started and run and after hours of running specially if head light is on the car shuts down. this is an indication that the alternator is not charging. (factory defect) have it checked or return part to auto supply.
if alternator is good and you have the car jumped and run it will not shut down even if your battery is dead because the charge of the alternator is enough to power the electrical system of the car until you turn it off. this applies to all cars

I have a problem with my 2004 impala 3.8 V6 I will drive down the road and it will randomly die and won't start back up. It will turn over and everything but won't start. But if you let it

Possibly a crankshaft position sensor had the same problem with one of my former vehicles. Be careful buying a new one though it is an electronic part and it is not returnable at most part stores. That is what it sounds like to me though.

93 nissan altima died on the road, won't turn

If it just up and died on the road and will not turn over now even with a jump it almost sounds like you engine may have locked up on you. But it is hard to tell without actually seeing the car. For your sake I do hope it is a different problem. I would like to help you out more. Can you be more specific as to what the car did when it quit on you? Did it make any sounds or anything? Did it quit when you where actually driving or were you sitting some place at an idle? I look forward to hearing from you.

Coolant on the spark plugs is a classic indication of a failed cylinder head gasket. No point in doing any further analysis 'till you get that squared away. When you replace the head gaskets, it's always advisable to have the heads checked for cracks and warpage.

I am not positive about my answer but I figured I would give my feedback anyways. It is possible that your alternator might be going out. In my experience, I had a '95 Maxima where, as I was driving, the battery and brake light would come on for a second and then it would turn off. A couple of days later, I needed a jump start. After driving down the road and after the car shuts off on me again (even after the jump), I realized that I needed a new alternator. Sure enough, the alternator solved the problem.

My 2000 Ford Windstar is having some electrical issues. I was driving it home and the AC stopped working the radio went dead the odometer went dead my turn signals did not work and I could not roll down...

Check your alternator. My van did something similar. I was driving down the road and all of the sudden my windows, a/c, radio, door locks, speedometer, everything electrical went down. We stopped and tried to crank it and it wouldn't. Then finally it cranked up went another mile before the fuel pump quit working too. It was the alternator. I had to have someone come jump me off and follow me to the parts store and then home for it to be fixed.
