My 97 chevy k 1500 makes a loud roaring noise and feels like front brakes are being applied only in 4hi or4lo any idea s

Jack up the front wheels and check for loose play in the hub bearings. Excessive play in the bearings allow the rotors to ride at an angle against the brake rotor creating drag. The roaring is the bearing itself that has failed.

Roaring noise with my 2006 Chevy Cobalt?

while the wheel bearings still feel tight they are the cause of your problem, after a collision most cars suffer from this problem depending on the speed of the accident the forces encountered during a sudden stop causes intense stress and fatigue on the bearings

what type of vehicle, auto or manual hubs, check front u-joints. since you replaced hubs i imagine you inspected brake parts and rotors. could also be a wheel bearing in front pig. (carrier bearing or pinion shaft bearing)

Have owned 2 2006 altimas and both have had roaring noise like a wheel bearing going out in right rear

It may be caused by a bad wheel bearing. To be sure, try to swap the 4 wheels and see if there would be changes in the noise location. If it does change, the noise may be from the tires that are not worn out evenly.

My tacoma makes a loud roaring noise while I am driving. (Changed tires already still happens) Worse when I turn the wheels toward the passenger (right) Gets bette when I turn left. Constant while going...

have your wheel bearings checked out. sounds like a wheel bearing going bad, if you said it gets worse when turning right have your left wheel bearings checked for wear. weight transfer will put more strain on the bearings and make them louder.
