C10 wiring


You did not give the year of the truck, but this might help.
You may need to get an actual wiring diagram from a shop manual since that info is not usually in a DIY book.

How do I replace a power steering gear box in 1971 chevy c10


In general terms, its fairly easy.
You need to disconnect the pitman arm, the steering coupler to the column, the ps hoses, and unbolt it from the frame.
The tricky part is getting the steering wheel and pitman arm aligned so the steering wheel is centered when you put it back together.
Some are notched so you have to put it back one way, some are not.

I nead to replace the clutch on my 1971 chevy c10 iv takin the shifter off and nead to know weather to remove the drivet or unbolt the tranny first?


un bolt the drive shaft from the rear but leave it in the trans, this will keep the oil from leaking. then unbolt the flex plate from the torgue converter. then drop the trans
