SOURCE: 2004 toyota corolla stereo diagram of how to

Just pull the vents that surround the stereo, no screws there, then yo remove the front panel, starting with the knob that turns the blower on, there you'll find a hidden screw, take off the ashtray and a couple of screws on the top if I correctly remember...

from here you can continue... just remember to use a piece of paper and a pencil to draw quicly a diagram from where are you taking the screws or you'll screw... less than you took off :D

SOURCE: how to remove door panel off 2004 pontiac grand

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. Then pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything.

SOURCE: 2004 pontiac grand am car will not start

the security light will flash and disable the fuel injectors preventing the car from starting, if it thinks that it is being stolen. its easy to fix. set the parking brake to turn off the automatic headlights. next turn the key to the on position and wait ten minutes. the security light should stop flashing. then turn the key off and this will reset the security system. it should start immediatly afterwards.

SOURCE: driver side mirror 2004 Pontiac Grand Am

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

I need to replace the Heater Blend Door Actuator in my wife's 2004 Pontiac Grand Am SE. Were is it and how hard is it to replace.

its hard job if first time doing mechanic work.problem could be the temperature control switch get to the air door actutor you have to remove instrument panel cluster and remove lower right sound insulator and lower left sound insulator panel and knee bolster from below the steering column.first you need to disable airbag in the steering wheel and passenger side dash before working around the dash disable airbags turn off radio disconnect negative battery cable wait 20 minutes let airbag discharge first before attempting to work around the dash or instrument cluster. like i said hard job if first time you have remove a lot of things to get to the heater core housing where air door actutor and defrost actutator locations.

Continous clicking (signal lights)

HI.there is a defective part called the hazard lamp switch located in the middle of the dash. These switches fail internally.Try poking the switch hard with your fingers a few times when you hear the noise. If the noise goes away, the switch is probably faulty. The switch is very easy to replace.Just remove the trim on the dash carefully, then remove the switch.
