If the plate is on the trunk it will most likely be the wiring by the hinge of the trunk, the wires break sometimes after the trunk goes up and down a few thousand times,so just pull on the wires individually and see which one has a break in it and jsut solderit and heat shrink it...hope this helps

Tail light running lights, and liscense plate lights dont work, but breaklights, signal, and hazard lights work

The tail lights and licence lamp is all the same circuit, should be a brown wire to all 3, it sounds like its broken in the harness somewhere (especially if the front park lamps work, then the fuse and switch are good). Trace back from rear lights until you find power. Check for pinched wires or cut, or bulges in the wire indicating resistence. Also if you have wired in a trailer plug, disconnect it and retry. Trailer wires are very seldomly wired properly and cause lots of light issues.

How to change liscense plate light? se model

hi, if your license plate bulb cover has no screw holes in it then the chances are its just pushed in it may be a very tight fit but should just pull out its usually held in by two plastic clips that lock once its pushed in so using a screw driver to lever the light cover off should get it off.

If you have a cover on the inside of the boot that covers the wires going to the number plate bulb you may be able to take this off and then be able to see how it comes off.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
