Where is a shut down relay on a 99 dodge stratus

The ASD relay is located in the PDC. The inside top of the PDC cover has a label showing relay and fuse identification.

The Automatic Shutdown (ASD) relay supplies battery voltage to the fuel injectors, generator field, electronic ignition coil and the heating elements in the oxygen sensors.

The PCM controls the ASD relay by switching the ground path for the solenoid side of the relay on and off. The PCM turns the ground path off when the ignition switch is in the Off position unless the 02 Heater Monitor test is being run.

My Honda Odyssey 1999 auto zone has been check the engine it came with a code of P1676 what it that mean?

Got DTC P1676 or TCS DTC
31? Replace the Ignition
NOTE: This article applies to '00-02 Accord V6s
and '99-02 Odysseys.
Got a vehicle in your shop with DTC P1676
(FPTDR signal line failure) or TCS DTC 31 (engine
retard command [PFINH] signal)? A bad ignition
switch (the electrical half) could be the culprit.
NOTE: On the HDS, you'll see TCS DTC 31 listed
as TCS DTC 31-2.
Inspect the ignition switch solder joints for any
signs of overheating. If you notice the solder joints
are melted, replace the ignition switch.

I have a 2004 dodge stratus that has power to lights but does not turn over when i try to crank even after jumping it off.

Check ignition switch fuse. This is a 20 Amps. see that it has not blown. In 2004 Fuse should be nr 8 in the power box under the hood (newer models #24).

Once you are sure that battery, fuse and wires are OK, check starter and ignition switch. Check if there is 12V to starter while cranking. If there is power and the starter motor does not turn, then the motor is gone.
If there is no power to starter motor when you crank, then the ignition switch located inside the steering column may need replacement. Before repairing, try reading error codes with a code scanner.

My 02 Dodge Stratus will not shift out of Park. Help?

If the engine starts, but wont shift out of park, you should check that your brake lights are working. The interlock solenoid is powered by the brake light switch, if the fuse is blown or if the brake light switch is bad, the car wont shift out of park...I hope this helps.

I also have a 2000 stratus and the wheel turns

The ignition cylinder is either worn out or you may have a key that has excessive wear. Try using another key or you may be able to take your vin number and proof of ownership to a dealer and make a new key. Chrysler is known for faulty ignition switches though and if the new key does not work you will have to replace the ignition lock cylinder.

I have a 1998 Dodge Stratus and the ignition is locked and the wheel is now. Before the wheel wasn't but I tried locking the wheel to see if the ignition would unlock but it didn't work. How can I remove...

I suggest you purchase a Haynes Repair Manual 1995-2005 edition. It will walk you through the ignition cylinder replacement process. You can purchase these at most auto parts stores for around 19.95

You can replace your own O2 sensor. They require a special socket you can buy at your parts store. Unplug the wiring harness, unscrew the old sensor, screw in the new one and plug in the harness.
