Better to replace seems unless you replace almost all guts you will still have problems. look for a used unit

2001 Tahoe 4wd isn't engaging in 1,2,or 3rd or drive. It only goes forward when the gear shift is on reverse and when it starts to move it makes a loud clunk noise and grinding.

Not sounding to good. Sounds like you wiped out the planetary gears. Depending on the damage, your looking at $2000 rebuild.

Roaring noise in front end of Monte Carlo 2001 the faster I go the faster it goes. Does not happen when I idle or rev the motor only when I'm driving?

A common problem with this generation of MC's is the ISS, or intermediate steering shaft. The shaft turns with the wheels and does exactly what you describe. If it isn't too far gone, a repair shop can do a lube job on it and some more parts on your front end to fix the symptom. If it is too far gone, you will need a new ISS.

There are other front end problems (power steering, wheel hubs, axles, brake rotors, etc.) that will cause similar noises and symptoms. If you aren't highly skilled and mechanically inclined, it is much better to just take the car into a repair shop for a diagnosis and/or estimate than to throw parts and labor at the general area. If somebody makes a bad judgement or two, the cost of replacing parts that do not eliminate the root cause will quickly add up to more than the cost of a proper repair. Not to mention the time involved. 25362372-awph1b3yhxdrnyqdcrsrelkr-5-0.jpg

Front brakes making noise

Could be that your rotors need to be turned (milled) to take out some of the unevenness. the pads on my last brake job never seated correctly and did not stop smoothly. I would have them checked for both conditions. If a shop did the work and this is what you got, they should fix it for free.

My tahoe makes a grinding noise from front when moving

brake caliper stuck? front brake pads. get some one to listen at the front wheels while its moving. that will at least eliminate the possibility. I've had that happen more times than i can count on diff. cars!

Grinding noise when turning left or right in my 2005 chevy tahoe.

One, or both, universal joints from the front wheels has failed prematurely. You will have to replace it.
It's a complicated job that implies the complete removal of the wheel hub - something that only a repair shop can do it safely and correctly. It will cost you about $500 (including the replacement shaft and joint) per wheel.

2001 Hyundai Tiburon makes grinding noise while in motion

Stay away, those need to be pressed into place with a hydraulic press, it is best to leave that to a qualified repair shop
