Question about 2006 Hyundai Tucson

1 Answer

My problem lasts now about 05 months. Once I heard a sound when I push on the clutch pedal. This sound is like a BZZZZZZ sound. I took it to a mechanic and he said maybe it's because of some water that got into due to the wash of my car. So he put some bribe in the joint stop but no way. The problem is the same. To your information, the 5 speeds ans the rear one works perfectly but what worries me is the sound. I am afraid that it will cause a damage in the coming days. Thank you for your help

When you push on the clutch a bearing on the input shaft pushes against the pressure plate fingers and releases your clutch. This bearing called a throw out bearing might be going thus causing the BZZZZZ sound. It only rotates when the clutch pedal is pushed. Take the vehicle to a reputable tranny shop for futher diagnosis.

Have you looked under the car? maybe something out of place or even hanging down that shouldn't be hanging? Its possible that you have bad cv axles as well. That's really all I can think of unless I actualy drove it myself. good luck!.

No sorry to be the bearer of bad news but i think the fingers on the clutch are worn to excess and when the clutch is depressed fully the bearing is going through the fingers of the clutch causing the noise you can hear .Eventualy it will need a new clutch which is not expensive if you do it yourself

Look a little further sounds like a simple linkage problen, Maybe a bolt came out or something to that affect. The pedal comes back up by way of clutch springs pushing back on the linkage. Nothing wrong with clutch. Again look at the linkage
