To get to it, you gotta pull the battery and the battery tray, then you will see it. Checking in the factory service manual...

  • Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove righthand charge air cooler duct.
  • Remove battery assembly, then righthand charge air cooler.
  • Disconnect B+ and S-terminal connectors.
  • Remove pipe bracket.
  • Remove starter bolts.
Keep in mind that FSM says to also pull the intercooler, dunno if that is necessary. Looks fairly straight forward to me.

For Alternator, Replace...
  • Disconnect battery ground cable at battery.
  • Remove electrical harness
  • Disconnect terminal B+ wire, then alternator electrical connector.
  • Remove righthand splash shield.
  • Remove drive belt.
  • Remove A/C compressor; then, with pipe still connected, position A/C compressor away from alternator
  • Remove Alternator.

Reverse to install.

Hope helps.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Car does start

I would start with the key switch and checking the major fuses in the engine compartment. It sounds like the key switch is not moving past Acc or it does not have power for the major circuits.
