You turn the key and nothing happens?

The engine turns over normally but takes longer to start?

The later is either a fuel pressure regulator or a bad fuel pump. If your fuel injectors are on the outside of the intake plenum (you didn't specify the motor) your in luck. If you look on the drivers side of the fuel rail you will see the fuel pressure regulator. It will be a round metal part with a vacuum hose going to it. Pull off the hose and see if gas comes out of the regulator. If it does it is bad and needs to be replaced.

If you have Central Port Injection or the fuel system is inside the intake plenum. It will be a little more difficult to confirm a bad regulator but I wouldn't hesitate to replace it as a good starting point. With the upper plenum removed you will still be able to cycle the key to the run position and see if the regulator leaks out its nipple.

2001 mazda 626 intermittent starting problem. Help!

Five areas to check for this. The ignition switch, the neutral safety switch, the relay and fuse, the starter and wiring. Next time it happens, hit the starter with something hard(hammer, steel rod, prybar), If it starts, replace the starter. If you hear a click when trying to start, it is the starter. I still hit it to make sure. Sometimes it could be a low voltage/wire problem.

Hit a hard pothole with 2003 Jeep grand cherokee laredo. Immediately stopped. Fuel pump inertia switch?

Never heard of this switch in the fuelpump circuit. Remove the fuel cap and listen if you can hear the pump when you switch ignition on. The pump will run for 3 seconds when you don't start. Hitting the pothole can have dislodged many things, from relays and connectors to a line.

I can't get my car to start, when i turn the key the car don't make any sounds, i check the battery, change the starter

The next thing i would check is the ignition switch itself. Turn the key to the on position, If the red warning lights on your dash don't light up (and your battery connections are clean), the ignition switch is bad. If they do light up, turn the key to the start position. The dash warning lights should turn off at this key position (most cars). If you're not sure, turn on the headlights. When you try to start the car, the lights should either dim (a lot) or turn off completely. If they do, your ignition switch should be ok. If not, the switch will need replacement.

Hard to go into park will not let the ignition switch operate.

Hi.
Your ignition switch needs to be replaced. Try this for now. Push it into park with twice the force you usually use. J.

How do i start my toyota camry after i have hit the kill switch?

I guess you tried reversing the kill switch. But did you try it after you put the ignition on? Some switches work this way. Try different things. ignition on, ignition off, etc

need to find out where the inertia switch is and reset it. the inertia switch is used in case of a role over...any sudden hard hit will trip it and kill the power to the fuel pump

Key fob not working

hello mate.. if it has stopped working you might want to check the battery first.. if you are sure that the battery is fine then consider reprogramming the fob to your car.. here are the steps to follow.. NISSAN

Remote Control Fob Procedures:

The Central Door locking is controlled by the Multi-Remote Control system which controls
the door locking, door super locking and emergency hazard reminders.

When the doors are locked and unlocked the unit flashes the hazard lights once for lock and twice for unlock.

A maximum of four remote controls are allowed to be programmed:

ALMERA
ALMERA TINO
PRIMERA
MAXIMA
MICRA
SERENA
VANETTE CARGO
TERANO II

Ensure all the doors have been unlocked, either by using a good transponder key or remote
control plip key.

Procedure:
1. Turn the ignition switch from Position 0 to ON 6 times within 10 seconds.
2. Next, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Leave key in ignition switch.
3. Wait 2 seconds then the system will enter programming mode and will flash the warning
lights twice.
4. Press and HOLD the unlock button on the Plip.
5. While pressing the unlock button, press the lock button 3 times.
6. Release the unlock button.
7. The warning lights will flash once to indicate successful programming.
8. Repeat procedure 4 to 7 for up to 4 plip key's.
9. When completed turn ignition ON, and the warning lights will flash 2 times.
10. Remove key, and check all plip key's for operation.
NOTE : The programming mode will stop when either the ignition is switch ON, 4 plip keys
have been programmed or no input signal either from the switch or plip keys has been received
for 120 seconds.
