Probably OK to drive, but you will need a scan to know what is wrong.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5932051-check_engine_light_check. These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

Why is My 08 Toyota RAV4 engine, VSC, and traction control fault indicator lights are all on and my cruise control blinks when activated and does not work. Is this problem common and is it hard to dia

Same as every other time you had
a check light or fault codes

Retrieve the codes
Diagnose the codes & system by
component testing to find a problem

All the questions & wondering is a waste of time

Get working on finding issues & never use a vehicle
with any dash light lite after the motor is running, until
you know the possible reason for the fault

Doesn't matter if it is common

That has nothing to do with fixing your vehicle as quickly as possible, before you cause some damage, if that applies

The light only comes on at those speeds because it is an
ABS Braking System problem & the system is either trying
to operate or is running self checks & finds a fault, thus sets
the light

WHY DOES VSC & CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYON

diagnostic reader and or workshop time required to
to fix both VSC and engine light faults /codes

VSC is brake /traction related ..... this is one explanation

It would appear that system braking, traction control, and possibly some anti rollover control is dis abled if this warning light is on. So it is both fuel in efficient and possibly dangerous to drive with this light on.

engine light

there are stored fault codes in the engine computer module pointing to faulty sensors on the car needing to be checked or replaced

Have a lite on dash flashing on and off

The warning light is for a problem with the electronic traction control.
You would need to have the body computer scanned to get the trouble codes.

ABS/ Traction control light/BAS & brake light on in 2008 dodge grand caravan

It is safe to drive. You need a scan tool to get a code out of it. Could be as simple as a wheel speed sensor going bad. All of these lights will work together normally. The traction control uses the ABS to gain traction, and the Brake Assist System is part of the stability control. Also uses the ABS.

Replaced bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor with an OE

Those lights indicate an issue with ABS or traction control systems. In order to properly diagnose the problem the vehicle's codes will need to be read with a scanner.

Generally speaking there is no danger in driving the vehicle but be aware you may not have functioning traction control and/or ABS while those lights are present.
