07 ford escape has a bad vibration or shaking at 60 mph ?

Did they check the universal joints in the driveshafts, and the slip yolks. That will cause a vibration at certain speeds.A bad Constant Velosity joint in the driveshaft will cause another vibration sometimes worse that a u-joint. Have someone that knows about drivelines check them and you may solve the problem. I hope i have been of some assistance in helping you resolve the issue.

Front vibrations when braking and goes away when accelerating

Generally, vibrations occurring when you are braking are caused by warped brake rotors or drums (depending on what you have). The problem will get progressively worse the more you use the brakes. The only cure is to replace the rotors (or drums). You cannot see the warping.

Wobbling or vibration at 60-70 usually is a tire that's either thrown a weight (balancing weight) or a tire that has a broken belt (internally). Try getting the tires balanced.

Vibration at highway speeds loud humming noise,

Possibly a wheel bearing issue, does it `get progressively worse as speed increases or better as it decreases? does it stop when applying the brakes or get worse?

You may have to get your wheels re ballanced if you lost one of the weight's on the rim. The other thing to is a bent rim if you hit a large pot hole or crub and last to see if the tire it self has funny wear patterns on the treads.
Other things to look for if your wheels are ok. Check the ball joints Check the tie rod ends Check and pay attention to the Idler and Pitman arm. Your looking for any excessive movments
A good way is to grease all that is mentioned above and see if the vibration is gone.
Lost thing would be the brake rotors but you'ld now that by having vibrations throught out any speed when you apply the brakes to slow down.
Good luck and hope this helps, you should be able to do this on your own other then checking the wheel ballance.

Steering wheel vibrations

It could be worn starting parts, Not ballanced wheel, and broken or worn struts. Start with the wheel getting ballance and go from there if there was no problems before your got the new tires put on.
