Check the coolant level and condition. There are simple test that you can do to check for that problem. At normal operating temp, check to see if both radiator hoses are the same temp.If not suspect a faulty thermostat. At the climate control, turn from hot to cold and listen for vent doors closing behind the dash board as you change selection. Possible the heat and cool door not opening.

My 1992 Accord has electric push-button AC/HTR controls so check fuses and listen to fan noise when switching air output from dash vents to defrost to floor heat. Unlikely for this car but I did fix a pinched heater hose on a 78-79 Mustang V8.

It is also possible that you need a new heater core installed

High speed doesn,t work on heater switch.

Pull the heater control panel out of the dash and inspect the blower speed control switch, look for signs of a burnt connector to the switch, it will be discolored looking, if this is the case replace the switch and install a repair connector
