It comes from the back of the transmission below the brake booster and goes into the firewall.

How do i remove the odometer/spedometer cable from the transmission on a 1993 honda accord


There is no mechanical cable linking the transmission housing to the meter panel. There is a electrical connector located on top of the trnasmission housing connecting to the speed sensor, close to the drive shaft.

There spedometer has a cable that runs to tranny and screws on. Sometimes this can unscrew or the flat cable end inside can get bent or broke.

Spedometer stuck at 40 when running, 20 when turned off


the speedo has a defective part called a stepper motor, you will need to remove the speedo and have the dealer get it repaired or in some cases exchanged.

Location of transfer case for a 1998 honda civic


There is no spedometer cable. It is electronic. There should be a speed sensor on the top of the transmission near the back side. Two bolts hold the sensor to the tranny and there should be three wires coming out of the sensor on a plug.
