Would my drive shaft going bad make my aerio shake when I take off?

Hi, well, yes, you can get shake of take off. A drive shaft, however, usually gives problems the higher your speed. Imagine a shaft, out of true.. Slow does little, but faster starts vibrating.

There are many things that can be causing what you are describing. Like universal/constant velocity joints. These manifest at low speed, especially when turning.
Also check your motor mounts and all locating hardware bushings.

Tire balance is likely cause, It starts shaking at a certain speed then will stop at a higher speed, If it were a bad belt it would have a constant wobble feel

1982 ford f150 shaking in higher gears

what do you mean by "higher gears"? If you mean that when you get to higher speeds and the front end starts shaking, I would bet your front brake rotors are warped. The price of new ones is pretty cheap, so i would replace them and the brake pads. You may also want to get the front end alighnment checked out. Thanks
