My 1972 Vw bug won't start anymore. It acts like

The basic process is to check for spark at the coil and the plugs, then check for gas in the carb. If you have spark, it should try to start with carb cleaner sprayed into the carb throat.
If it does, you then check for fuel pump pressure in the line between the pump and the carb.

Firing order for 1971 VW Super Beetle Can't start and need the firing order of this 1971 SuperBeetle.

The firing order is 1-4-3-2. The cylinders are numbered from the front of the car with 1 & 2 being on the passenger side and 3 & 4 on the driver's side, so #1 and #3 are closest to the rear seat. The distributor turns clockwise and there is a scribed notch on it to mark the #1 position. Hope this helps.

How do you put in the control arms in a 1966 vw bug

Loosen the wheel nuts on both wheels, jack-up the car, and support on jack-stands.Take out both front tires. Detach the stabilizer link from the control-arm, remove the ball-joint clamp bolt and nut. Separate the balljoint stud from the steering knuckle with a big screw-driver. Remove bolts that's holding the control-arms to frame.

Shaking engine, weak power, blinking check engine light

You have a bad coil pack, they usually crack from age and heat. It's best to replace them all. Check for a VW recall on this item.
