Question about 2001 GMC Yukon XL
Hello, your low idle issue is most likely one of two things. First, the fuel pressure regulator, which is mounted on the driver side of the engine, is a small round gold, or silver metal canister, with a vacuum line going to it, pull the vacuum hose off,and see if it is wet with gasoline. If it is, then this is your problem, and the regulator needs to be replaced. If not, the fuel injection system needs to be cleaned, as it has deposits built up, causing a low idle situation. The cleaning should be done at a repair facility, as a normal bottle of injector cleaner , that you would get at a parts store, will not fix this issue. Good luck...Coop
