Low coolant level light is on but my car has plenty of coolant

The low coolant level sensor inside the coolant tank is defective, replace it..

Seems as if all the senors in my car is going. I have the dash "low coolant" light on but coolant is fine. I also have a sensor in my front passenger side door gone and now my turn signals aren't

These are not really sensors but switches. The low coolant one if the tank is full is defective it is located in the coolant recovery tank. The door has a defective door ajar switch in one or more of the four doors, have a dealer scan the systems control module for id of which sensor it is, to replace them requires the door be taken apart a very time consuming job if you have to remove all 4 door panels.

Low coolant litewon,t go off.coolant not low

Look for wiring on the over flow tank. In the area of the wiring you may notice a switch. Using a good sized screw driver tap the overflow tank in the area of the switch. Not so hard it breaks the tank. This may dislodge the switch so it reads the coolant right. If taping on the tank does not fix the hang you may have to replace the tank as the switch is built in. Cost about $39.00.. Here is a picture of the tank.mcneb_66.jpg

Low coolant light continues to come on. The coolant is full. Reasons why?

This is a common problem and it caused by a defective low coolant light sensor. The sensor is either located in the bottom of the coolant surge/recovery tank or in the side tank of the radiator.

My ford coolant light is on eveything is ok but the light still on

could be the low coolant sensor located in the reserve tank. On some vehicles you need to buy the tank assy to get the switch. Try taking the tank out and draining and cleaning....if the switch is removable try to clean it and see if there is a difference. Hope this helps.

1994 bretta low coolant light came on but level is full what could be the problem?

Hello rickwyatt100: My name is Roger and I will help you. If you are sure the coolant system is full?Disconnect the low coolant sensor. Turn the ignition switch to the run position. Is the low coolant light lit? If No, Replace the low coolant sensor switch. If yes you need to check circuit 69 for a short to ground. If the circuit is ok replace instrument unit for repair or replacement. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

The Low Coolant light stays on permanently even though the coolant level is normal. Any suggestions how to fix please?

The float switch in the coolant tank is either stuck or defective , they are cheap and easy to replace, just follow the wires that are attached to the coolant tank, and youv'e found the float switch.

Radiator fan not working

The most common problem with this situation is the coolant fan relay being defective, best off buying one from the dealer and at the same time they will tell you where the switch is laocated, generally they are fitted into the radiator tank or intake coolant portion of the vehicles coolant system.
