Driver side window was geting slow going up and it wont go down .when you push it you hear it but it wont go down or up

Assuming this is a power window the wire on your window regulator has broken and has tangled up locking the window. Your dealer or favorite automotive store will have a replacement with or without an electric motor. Usually the motors are ok and you just need the regulator.About an hour and a half to do yourself.

Drivers electric window wont roll up it goes down real slow but wont go up past halfway. Its real slow going down and before this it would go slow and roll outside of track at top

Window regulator and motor assembly will need replaced. Common problem. You've seen other people with it at the drive thru ATM and pick up windows - getting out of there car to get items!! LOL! Seriously have an experienced mech. look into it. Having this thing not work will be a real pain especially if it dies during a rain storm. Good luck

Back glass window goes down slow after the top is down

This may be due to a simple issue of wd-40 Use some lubricant spray Like WD-40 when window is down in the sides of the door seals and then put window up and down a few times then you will notice its back normal working..

My 97 4 door Honda Accord windows have always been slow to open and close - they drag really bad and now my drivers side window has fallen off the track and will no longer roll up properly. I have tried...

you need to replace window rubber runners to cure this problem.hell of a job......or you could try silicon, with the windows down place a small amount onbottom of runners then wind them up then down several times to spread silicon around try not to get it all over the glass......

My windows are slow to go up and down... especially if the car is not in motion. Same is true for the wipers. They all go faster if the car is in motion. Have a new battery and the alternator tests...

I got some silicone spray and sprayed it around all the rubber edges of the window frame that the windows slide in, i had to do this a couple of times and to be honest i made a mess but after putting the windows down and back up about 5 times they worked like new.

Several opinions about this:
Silicon Spray
Guys dont use Silicon Spray - I tried it (expensive stuff) and the windows were great for couple of weeks, then they got really really bad, much worse than how it was originally. The problem is that gunk and dirt get into the silicon and get stuck in it.
It took me months to get rid of the silicon **** using detergent.

WD40 is too thin and wont last long. It can also affect the window tinting.

Carbon/Graphite Powder
This is the best stuff to use. Dust does not get caught in it.
It works instantly and lasts for weeks - depending on how worn down the window rails and rubber are. If the windows start to go slow again, just put some more in. I keep a bottle in my glove compartment. If it rains heavily, it can wash away the carbon though. But at least it wont seize up like silicon grease. I think this is what the factory does to new cars anyway.

For the last choice, visit Auto-One stores:

Its cheap - around $5 I think. You can get it from any auto shop such as Repco, AutoOne, etc..

Hope helped.

Power windows

sounds like the window motor has packed it in on the front... rear window u should lubricate the runners but if that fails the motor will be on its way out too

Slow power windows

More than likely , but try some silicone spray down sides where window slides up & down, (felt) it may help lessen the load on the motor. I have extended the life by removing door panel & lubricating all the slides & guides the window runs up & down on. It may buy you some time anyway.

if the motor is working fine and i could be some rivits missing that hold your track up and in place for the window to operated properly check that see if there is any broken pieces lying in the bottom of your door.
