Where do i put in freon

your vehicle came with R12 u can not purchase it , well depends on your STATE. but you will need to retro fit for R134A unless there is R12 still available at your area.

there are 2 locations a high side and low side most people use the low side connection to add freon.

R & r a/c compressor

No, to replace the Front seal you will need to remove the Compressor from the vehicle. Unless you have done this before I highly recommend you get the Haynes repair manual on your vehicle so you have directions and diagrams to follow in the removal process and replacement of the seal itself. Also, as I was recently reminded, your are supposed to use a recovery machine to discharge the Freon instead of allowing it to vent into the air. You can most likely rent one from Auto Zone to do the job but the truth is if the seal is blown you have already leaked all the freon out anyway. The haynes Repair manual will also tell you how much R134a you will need and how much Oil will be needed to charge the system after you have done the repair.

How to add refrigerants? To a 2000 buick lesabre. My car is blowing hot air it went from cool to hot. and now it just hot air coming out.

look for the fitting that is the smaller of the two and is attached to the line that is the larger of the two, this is the "low" fill side, add 2 cans of r134a freon each can is one pound the system empty holds 2 3/4 pounds of freon thats 2 3/4 cans.
I would buy 1 can of leak detector/freon combo and one can of dye/freon combo, if it takes more add a small amount of a third can that has an oil mixture in with the freon that would complete your systems needs the cheapest and fastest way possible.
If you want it done to the book then you need to have a certified A/C man vacumn pump down the system, replace the reciever drier, add freon and oil to fill the system and then check for leaks.
Happy Motoring!!

Freon and connector for 1986 buick lesabre

there are two hoses coming out of the firewall side by side .. one is large and one is small ... they both have valve ports but only the large tube (low pressure side) is to be used for adding refrigerant .. if your connector from the R134a can does not fit ..then you probably have the older R12 system .. that has been outlawed now because of ozone layer destruction caused by it ..you cant get that anymore .. you can however convert your system to R134a but it involves washing out the entire system and replacing all rubber parts ..then attaching adapters so the R134a will connect (availible auto parts) .. by law any remaining R12 in your system has to be recovered, not vented to air .. (actually the r12 is worth a fortune right now but it may not be legal to sell ..its about a 25 times increase) ... the modification process requires a "certified" tech to do the work and the results wont be quite as good as the old r12 ... at least it will work if the system is cleaned out enough .. the two refrigerants dont like each other .. that is, the lubes that are used do nasty things when mixed .. if you wanted to you could become "certified" by attending some classes and passing a test on ozone layer depletion ... now they have discovered that r134a is a powerfull green house gas .. so that also will be phased out in the future .. its like 1600 times worse than CO2 ... r12 was a wonderful chemical .. very hard to beat its performance and stability .. .

How much to recharge A/C unit in 92' Buick LeSabre?

Depends on if it takes R134 A or R12 refridgent. R134A most likley looking around $150 depending on amount of freon the system holds. if its R12 open your piggy bank cause its going to cost you some coin as R12 is no longer in production you have to convert your system to R134A or find a gararge that still has some R12
