You need to replace the flasher. Its usually cheap and easy to do. just go to your local parts store and they'll give you the right one.

My hazard flashers don't work on my 2008 ford edge.where is the fuse for the flashers or the relay .looked in manual no help

The vehicle's owner manual should let you know the location of the fuse box, boxes or fuse compartments. if not try to check under the hood, under the dashboard of the vehicle, most of the vehicle have them under the driver side or on the side of the dashboard. you may want to start there. or may be check the light bulbs as well and double check the rest of the light as well may be your light bulbs that may be bad but I will start with the fuses first also there may be a chance that the hazardous light switch may just went bad too if the case is you will need to replace that and I will take it to mechanic. you always want to make sure your hazard lights work in case of emergency!

Ok i don't know about much about cars but i know

sounds like the signal switch relay fuse. turn your signal on and check your fuse boxes... inside the car and under the hood. it will look like a little square box inside your fuse box next to your other fuses. with your signal on, you should be able to locate the relay because it will be making a clicking noise. pull it straight out and go get another one. hope this helps.

My turn signal is not working nor my harard lights i brought an new four way flasher but dont know where it goes

The relays, fuses and flashers will go in the fuse box under the hood. It will be on the drivers side and just be a black box that you pop opern and it should have the details of what fuse/flasher is on the inside of the cover.

Have a good one!

My turn signals stopped working, I assume maybe a blown fuse. I looked for that fuse under hood but its not there. I looked at the fuse panel under the driver side dash but the fuse box cover is gone, and...

your flasher fuse is generally a round, or rectangular metal fuse.It should be in the fuse panel under the dash.If you look closely at the back of the fuse, sometimes they are stamped. You may be able to obtain a diagram of your fuse panel from your owners manual, check the index,or appendix in it.If you still have problems after replacing the flasher fuse, you may have a bad signal switch in the collum. Also try your hazards. On my truck the hazard signal sometimes does not fully engage, although the hazards stop flashing the turn signals wont work.more than likely,if the flasher fuse is blown, your hazards wont flash either. the lights for the signal should appear on your instrument panel and stay on steady, and not flash. good luck

Turn signals won't come on inside or outside of car but hazard lights come on inside and outside of car

Check turn signal fuse, if fuse is good, check turn signal flasher, this is identical to hazard flasher, I believe on the 1997 it is located under the dash near the center console. The turn signal and hazard flashers are the same part number so try switching places with them and see if the turn signals work. If turn signals work after switching them you need a flasher.

Blinker stopped working, but the hazard lights still work - I think it's a blown fuse but how and where do I fix the fuse

There is 2 different flashers. One flasher for the turn signals and one flasher for the hazards. If you turn on the turn signals and the turn indicator on the dash lights up but doesn't blink, then most likely it is the turn signal flasher that is bad. Good luck.

98 Elantra Turn Signals and Hazards Broken

Check your flasher. The flasher is a round metal thing inside the fuse panel. There are two fuse panels in the 98's, one inside the car by the hood release latch, and one under the hood by the battery. I'm not sure which one the flasher is in, but that definetly sounds like your problem. It simply plugs in like a fuse, and I would say it probably costs less than ten bucks, so I would try that first before anything and even if thats not the problem you only wasted a few bucks. Oh yea on a few cars the flasher might not be in the fuse panel, if it's not in yours its probably under the dash. If you cant find it or don't think you know what it looks like, I would go to the auto parts store and buy the new one, that way you know what your looking for. Good luck, hope this helped you.
