I would check the coil packs or ignition control module. As far as how, getting a chiltons manual would be your best bet.

Was running fine started sputtering and died cranks fine has oil gas tranny good

Anti-theft system problem , No spark -ignition system problem . That purge valve as you call it , is not a purge valve ,It's a place to hook up a fuel pressure gauge .An Just because you get fuel dripping out doesn't mean there is enough fuel pressure for the engine to start an run . Suggest you take to nearest ASE certified repair shop or the dealer .

Why my 2005 ba ford falcon wont start?

Its either no spark or no gas. Remove the fuel line and carefully crank it over..are you getting any fuel? If not possibly clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. If yes, are the spark plugs firing. Remove number one plug lead hold close to any metal surface on engine, crank over ..spark there..strong or weak spark? No spark check coil and associated parts.

Wont start

I understand you replaced the relay but not the pump, right ?
Has the fuel filter been replaced recently ? Are you sure there is gas in the tank ?
You should be able to jumper the pump relay and check fuel pressure.

1997 Saturn SL can't get it started Have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, CPS sensor and coolant sensor.

Im not sure if this will completely solve your problem, but I will give it a try.

If the engine is flooded, crank the engine while holding the gas pedal to the floor for a couple minutes (or until it sputters or starts). This will get all of the extra gas out of the engine. Your plugs will be fine.

Check your fuel pressure with a test kit...they have a bleeder port that can purge the air out of the fuel rail. Its possible the old gas may have gone bad in 6 years. you may have to purge the old gas with fresh gas. couldnt hurt to put a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner with your gas. Your injectors could be gummed up with varnish from the old gas.

Before you waste a bunch of money and time replacing good parts, get a code reader or have a mechanic hook up a code reader for you. This will help isolate your problems. If you are not getting a check engine light, the mechanic method may be better because their computers will give you more information than a handheld.

I ran my car out of gas and after putting gas in it still wouldnt start. i got told to change the fuel filter...i did and still wont start even thou it wants trys to turn over but still wont...

You don't pressurize anything
You didn't have to change the filter either

You need to check to see if the fuel pump
comes on at all,in the start position when cranking

If you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail on engine

If not then the fuel pump may have failed

Also, do you have a crank signal, spark, etc

Have it taken to a repair shop

The car runs ok for one or two days ,then afther being parked for some hours it wont start, it cranks and have spark ,but wont run, then afther six or more hours it will run again, the ceck engine light...

Had one of these drive me crazy. That one was the fuel pump. Pumped OK, but let the pressure back into the tank and let air into the fuel rail. Once engine had cooled, the pump purged the air out of system. Have someone check the fuel pressure when it does not start. If check valve is bad, there will be lots of air in the fuel rail. Second most likely cause is crank sensor going bad.It becomes heat sensitive on the way out.

Car ran fine one day, not it will crank but not

Your fuel system requires 35-45 PSI. If you don't have this pressure in the line then your fuel filter or fuel pump is at fault.
