place jack under gas tan.then remove two straps holding up tank.lower tank then remove hoses and electrical wiring.then slide tank from beneath car.the fuel pump then turns out.some pumps can be rebuilt and are cheaper instructions on how to come with replacement pump

it is in the gas tank you have to drop the tank and it goes down in the top although i would locate the filter on the frame rail first and replace it its cheaper and i reccomend you replace it anyway with a pump change

you will have to remove the fuel tank. hoist car up, disconnect connection for pump, then unhook lines to tank, fuel lines have preasure use safty glasses, next remove filler neck and vent hoses from tank, now support tank and remove straps, bend straps out of the way as you start to lower the tank, always keep an eye out for connections you may have forgotten, with tank on the ground remove the lock ring and pull up pump asembly.
