Question about 2001 Kia Sephia
Sounds like a factory alarm, it will happen if, for instance, you lock
your car with your remote, but unlock it with your key. Try using your
remote to lock and then unlock your car. If that doesn't work, unhook
the negative terminal of your battery, as soon as you reconnect it, the
alarm should go off again, lock and unlock it with your remote and that
should fix it.
Also, iots possible that you need to check and re-check all wiring connections, use this link diagrams for the specific model.
Hope helps; keep us updated.
