If your car is automatic and flywheel breaks then car won't go no where it will not move any more and you will hear a big knoking noise
and the cost will be between 5 to 9 hrs labor for 65 to 100 per hr plus parts depending whats the labor rate for your auto repair

Flywheel keeps breaking

By breaking I assume you mean into pieces? The only thing that would cause this is a badly misaligned transmission. Any other problems would cause such vibration you would not drive the vehicle .

Crank position sensor is hitting flywheel flywheel got damaged somehow can I bend it down with out a problem or is a new one a must need

What type of car is this..but to answer your question the flywheel would have to be out of round to make contact with the crank sensor i suspect you have a cracked or broken flywheel most of the time they will break at the center of the flywheel where the crankshaft attaches to the flywheel and would still drive for some time

Automatic gearshift stuck in drive in kia 2007 rondo

Kia transmissions have become more complicated and parts such as the clutch, flywheel and torque converter can fail regardless of your driving habits. If your vehicle is beyond the warranty period I would still recommend your local Kia Dealer for repairs on this problem. A transmission problem is far to difficult to tackle for all but the most experienced mechanic.

Most common maintenance problem for the bentely arnage.

They are many and all expensive...but it is a Bentley!

Oil seal behind flywheel leaks.

Fuel rail O rings leak fuel. Need to remove inter cooler and all that that involves....Bio fuel makes it happen sooner.

Vee belts wear..buy Danish made belts from dealer.

Power steering and alternator brackets subject to failure.

Radiator top outlet breaks off when top hose becomes old and stiff...radiator is $1300.00 plus $400.00 core charge and two way shipping.

Heavy car...tyre wear and suspension replacement common and often.

This is some of the repairs common to these Red Label Arnarge models.

If if a Green Label, then similar but more engine problems.

I have a 2004 optoma and its makeing a noise when you start it when it cold it in the motor passenger side its like a fan scrapping on something could you tell me what it could be it goes away when the car...

I've not heard of a Optoma, might not be sold in the USA. but you describe the starter being broken. It'll tear up the flywheel after awhile. Reemoving the starter and see if the gear fully retractes and nothings loose. Look at the flywheel too as it's the fan your talking about. It may have some bright spots on it wher it's been hitting and give you a clue to what's happening. the starter being not tightly bolted on will do this too but take it off and look to see as just tightening it may allow it to break something expensive.

What happens when piston road breaks in engine while driving? Is engine salvagable ?

engine is repairable but would be expensive if you have to leave it in garage depends on the brake what damage it done if your crankshaft not damaged and bottom end is okay con rod piston new bolts and bearings top end might be alright if it did not damage valve s but you will not know the extent of damage till you strip it should look at cost of replacement vehicle as against cost to repair

Starter keeps trying to start the car while driving

Better change that ignition switch before you break teeth in the flywheel and ruin the starter.........could end up being very very expensive. sounds like a short in the ignition wiring and any little bump could and wouold send a start signal to the starter.

My starter teeth all broke off any reasons

Drive may have been engaged when engine running, like as in accidentally forgetting it was already running, or drive was sticky & stayed engaged after start up. If this is first time it's happened, I wouldn't panic, but observe flywheel/ring gear teeth when you change starter. Check for good alignment when installing new one, just to be sure. Any odd noises from starter prior to this happening?

92 cherokee posible flywheel noise

You don't think it might be the power steering pump making that noise. It could be flywheel. Tell you what, if it is flywheel hears a way to chk. (outside of going underneith car), have you ever powerbreaked a car? setting still, step on break hold it down firm put it in gear and start giveing it throuttle do it in forward and reverse you might have to give it alittle more throttle than your comfortable with but thats the way your going to find out if its flywheel it should start making that noise or sound like a rod nocking or like your hitting a piece of metal with a hammer something on that order. Try that and see what happens Best to do this when there is nothing infront or behind you.

The motor is hrd does not move smooth when I start it. and i feel it hard to move.

I suggest that you check the teeth on the flywheel and the starter bendix (drive clutch with gear on it to turn the flywheel). It is difficult to diagnose this without actually seeing the vehicle. It could be that you could get by with changing the starter. Another thing to look at is the flywheel and bolts. It is possible that it is cracked. If that be the case, either the transmission will have to be pulled or the engine.
Hopefully it won't come to that. The longer you try to use it laike that, the worse and more expensive it is going to be to repair it.
Good Luck with it.
