Question about 1997 Honda Accord
Bad smells can come from a variety of heated item in a car.
The key word is HEATED. After you drive, and you smell the bad odor, park the car (engine running) and walk around the car smelling and sensing (not touching) for heated areas.
Lift the hood, and see if there are anythings that look out of the ordinary. The engine will be hot, but there are hoses and wires all over the engine compartment. look carefully to see if you have any wisps of smoke anywhere.
Melted wires or hoses. If you just filled the oil, you could be smelling oil burning off the block. This applies to any fluids.
