Depending on the build date of your vehicle there is a recall on these sensors and Dodge will replace them free of charge if the recall applies to your specific vehicle.

Otherwise, they are mounted to outside of the front frame rail, just outboard of the radiator. They are simply held in place with 2 10mm headed bolts. Remove the bolts and install the new sensor.

what engine? does it have spark? you can guess some more and put a Crank Position Sensor on it. or have a shop check it out and tell you exactly what is wrong and what the cost will be.

I am getting a code p522 and a p340 on my 2006 dodge caravan. i replaced the camposition sensor but i am still getting both codes. anything that i could try. thank you.


CODE P0522 - ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR RATIONALITY. CODE PO340 - NO CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT FAILURE. REPLACE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR.YOU NEED A CODE SCAN TO ERASE CODES. IF THESE CODES POP UP AGAIN. YOU COULD HAVE PCM PROBLEMS.CMP SENSOR NOT RECEIVING 5 VOLT SUPPLY.

I had the same problem back in February. It sounds like your sensor is gone. I went to a Dodge dealer , and charged me $300 to replace it. If you can , try to find another place to help fix your problem. Good-luck!

2006 dodge caravan 3.3l can not find the oxygen sensor, and can not afford to put in the shop. thank you


Look at the headers (exhaust right off of the engine) for your O2 sensors (there are 2).

P2097 Error code in 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan, which O2 Sensor?


actually there are 4 sensors. one on each exhaust manifold and then as you said one prior and aft the catalytic convertor. this is saying it is reading too rich a reading. check the condition of your spark plugs. you need to pin point the reason. chances are it is not the o2 sensor. happy holidays
