Question about GMC Canyon
Hi my cav starts ok but runs poorly until engine warmed up ,then runs ok
it is as if it is over choked, the egr valve is dissconnected and the vacum hose from the single injection unit is disconnected and blanked off ,this improves it but still it will not rev up cleanly and lacks power until engine temp above 90 oC. Can you Please Help
Ok before any thing you are not providing the year or engine size for your car, don't be worry i will try to help but you are not the only one not providing this very important information in order to get you the closes answer posible,
the first thing i will recomend you is to contact the dealer and ask for a list of recalls for this gmc, recalls are coming problems that dealers have to repair for free see if you gmc falls into this recalls and have it repair other than that the only thing i will sugest is to pull codes with an scan tool thats only if your check engine light come on, and see if the coolant sensor is bad and have it replace
