It sounds like you very likely have an air pocket trapped in your coolant system. You might also want to check for signs of coolant seepage anywhere on the motor/trans.My best advice would be to remove the cap when cold and top off your coolant, then perform a pressure test on the vehicle to see if you're loosing any coolant anywhere.I hope I could help, Rate me accordingly, Thanks!!

Buy 5 quarts, put 4 quarts in, start the engine let run 20-30 seconds, wait 1 min to let oil drain back down in pan then check it. Add 1/4 of the 5th quart at a time untill the dipstick reads full.

Code 1155 on a toyota highlander

Actually P1155 is pointing to a fault with the internal heater for the A/F Sensor (aka Oxygen Sensor) for Bank 2 Sensor 1. The PCM uses this internal heater to get the sensor to normal operating temps within a matter of seconds on cold starts. Replacing this sensor should solve your problem. This sensor is located in the front exhaust manifold.
Hope helps.

Tapping noise on start up then fades away all together within 30-40 seconds, could this be wrong verosity oil or? 2004 workmate 2.7 petrol hilux

The tapping is normal at start up, and is caused by lack of oil at the top of engine. The sound goes away within the time frame you stated (30-40 seconds). You have nothing to worry about.

Have patience and light will go off. Or you can go to advance auto to clear it for you. Or you can disconnect the battery for 10 seconds. Your choice.
