Remove the clutch linkage from pedal (older models) then of the left side of the brake and clutch pedal remove the nut from the shaft and remove the pedal. Newer models with a clutch cable only require removing the nut because the cable is to the right of the brake pedal.

How do you disconnect the clutch master cylinder from the clutch pedal

IF you look at at the clutch peddle, there is a rod coming from the clutch cylinder, that is attached to the clutch peddle arm by a pin , remove the pin, remove the line from the master cylinder, remove the bolts holding the cylinder to the fire wall, and the cylinder will be free to remove.

How to adjust cable operated clutch

Hi,if it can be adjusted it will have an adjusting nut on the arm that comes out of the gearbox bell housing where the engine joins the gearbox (if it can be manuely adjusted the peddle will try to engage when the peddle is at its lowest),but alot of cars have a ratchit on the clutch peddle so it adjusts itself,so when the clutch plate is coming to the end of its life the clutch starts ingaging when the peddle is high.hope this was some help, all the best with it.

You need to replace the clutch slave.....Ii recently did mine, after the installation it was stuck too.......the way I fix it was I had a friend pumping the clutch by hand while I bleed it under the car, it took about 15-20 minutes before it got hard again.
Good luck!

I need to get the clutch cable off a 1997 vw cabrio. How do i get the cable off the clutch pedal

After disconnecting the cable from the engine compartment remove the lower panel on the driver side. Press clutch peddle to floor then reach around the steering wheel column on the gas peddle side. you will feel a plastic guard. reach under guard you will feel the cable on top of clutch peddle. pull cable up and toward back of car.
