Unplug the electrical connector from your pop-up headlight motor(but not the headlight bulb), remove the plastic cover from the top of that same motor and manually turn the little gear at the top of that motor until the headlight moves up into the full upright position. It will remain there as long as the electrical connector stays unplugged.

Now that's funny! Rear fixed...front pops! Since the rear is where the work took place you need to check for crossed wires at the brake lights and turn signal lights. If there is uneven current draw on the circuits, the lights in front could be getting some of the power. Brake lights get the most power in the rear bulbs!

Check earth strap from engine to frame and battery to frame.

Does the 1990 nissan 240sx have a electric fan, to cool off engine or trans? The car keeps over heating when driving on the highway.


it should not overheat when moving even if doesnt work .either the rad is blocked or the head gasket has blown

Need to remove aftermarket radio in a 1990 nissan 240sx


Remove the shift knob. Starting on the console around the shifter, gently pull up on the "bezel". When it comes off you'll see the radio's held in (with the little storage area) by 4 Phillips screws.

"Drifter" recommends : Try replacing headlight fuse which should be a 10 amp , fuse panel located on floorboard next to clutch pedal.
