Question about Kia Sorento
You need to have the transmission checked. This is most likely a low fluid or clogged filter situation but only a check of the transmission will tell you. ( P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction) what ever you do don't let them back flush the transmission with their machine. All the shops that have them want to use that and charge 3 times as much for a fluid and filter change than just changing the fluid outright and it usually leads to a transmission rebuild within 6 months of having it done.
