In order to replace the seal your will have to remove the serpentine belt, the water pump pulley, the plastic timing belt cover, the crankshaft pulley and etc. You should get a book(from oriellys or Auto Zone) that will give you the exact process since it is hard to give step by step procedure without diagrams etc. They are good books.

Why would the left side output shaft keep leaking after repced 3 timeson 1994 saturn sl2

There is a bearing or bushing that is possibly worn out or there is a groove worn in the axle shaft where the seal rides. Have any other parts been replaced.

I have 2004 honda civic I changed the fel-pro oil pan gasket and the crank shift seal but it's still leaking any ideas

the 2.2 liter engines had a problem with the balance shaft seal blowing out Honda sells a plate to retain the seal in place. Remove lower cover and look at left side of engine below power steering pump. you can see the seal pop out.

My 2004 saturn vue is slowly dripping oil only when the car is running from the middle of the engine

this sounds to me like it could be a relatively severe leak from the rear main seal. this is the seal that holds the oil back from leaking out of where the engine block meets the crank shaft. best to have a local technician look at it.

How do I determin if my water pump in my '96 Saturn is bad once I get it off?

The pRts of a water pump that wear/go bad ate the bearing, seal and impeller. If there was coolant leaking from around the pulley/impeller shaft when it was still installed the seal is bad. If there is any play in the shaft, or it was making noise ehile running, the bearing is bad. Once removed check for worn or broken blades on the impeller. Hope that helps.

I have a 96 Subaru Impreza, Is smell like burning oil everytime I drive, I have taken it to mechanics and they say something related to my timing belt seal and cam and crank shaft, can that be it although...

Your car is 13 years old. It is possible for the seal to actually wear a groove into the crank shaft or cam shaft end. Which ever is protruding and has a seal. It used to happen on all the older G.M. cars. (60's 70's). Usually with over 100K miles. You may be leaking just enough for the wind to blow the oil back onto the exhaust while driving. I've seen it, done it, and repaired it. One way to tell is to look for tiny oil spot on the lower part of the rear bumper or lower part of trunk lid. Oil sometimes will blow back that far. Now, even if they change the seal, it may not stop the leak. Back in the day, you used to be able to buy a "Sleeve" kit for the crank. It slides over where the groove is so the seal can make contact on an smooth, level surface.
Get a second opinion before moving forward. And be sure to get some sort of warranty if at all possible.
A long shot, see if a mechanic will put it up in the air on a lift and show you where it's leaking from. It should be pretty well spread out over the bottom of the motor and possibly the transmission.

Good Luck and I hope this helps.

Have a serious oil leak.

the 3.0 liter engine was known to walk out cam shaft seals. there are covers over the camshaft gears that can be removed and you should be able to see if the seal has came out
